We just came back from ministering at a marriage conference in Acapulco Mexico, with our friends from Palabra de Fe in Interlomas and Toluca. What an experience!!!! I cannot describe what God did there. It was as if I was reborn. God gives you dreams and visions that sometimes are far fetched. Never let go of them. Who knew that I would be staying at a place that God created and it was there that Oscar and I renovated our vows. After 22 years of being friends, and knowing and dating and being married in all these years. I fell in love all over again with God Himself, with my husband, and rekindled a fire in my soul for what God has called us to do. To do Good works!!!
In Galatians 6:10 in The Passion Translation says it beautifully " Take advantage of every opportunity to be a blessing to others, especially to our brothers and sisters in the family of faith" What does that look like? that is something we have to consider in order to do this.
Paying for someone's groceries, someone's restaurant tab, people that you don't know and do good. Last night we went out to eat and my husband tells the waitress to pick up the restaurant tab of a person (who we did not know). She said "I have never experienced anyone doing something like this for me" We asked her if she went to church and she said she did. The bible clearly says it "especially to our brothers and sisters in the family of faith."
Ask The Lord to help you find someone in your church (not necessarily a friend) maybe someone you do not know and be a blessing to them. God will show you who. Just listen to Him. Maybe wash their car, fill up their tank with gas, babysit their children, give a gift card to their favorite place, these are things that God is watching and He will ensure that you will be refreshed because "those who refresh others will also be refreshed"
